This honor is bestowed upon the player who best exemplifies The Farmhouse Classic’s core values on and off the course. The Farmhouse Classic Member of the Year demonstrates a commitment to:
There are two ways someone can be considered for Member of the Year:
1. As part of each participant’s registration they will be asked to provide as self-nomination:
2. As part of each participant’s registration, they will have the option to nominate another participant they believe exemplifies the core values of The Farmhouse Classic. Nominations must include the name of the nominee and a short description of their charitable impact.
This information will be collected to determine finalists for the Member of the Year, as well as track the broader impact The Farmhouse Classic, is having in our local communities.
A panel of judges will select a group of finalists from the nominations, based on their charitable impact. Finalists are notified several weeks before the tournament of their selection. The panel of judges will then select the individual Member of the Year from the finalists.
All Member of the Year finalists are recognized in the program and are honored during the Friday Awards Ceremony.
From the finalists, one Member of the Year will be selected and will hit the ceremonial first tee shot for that year’s Farmhouse Classic, receive a custom needlepoint bag tag, and will be a judge in the following year’s Member of the Year selection committee.
